About Sammy

Sammy has been a full time painter for the past six and a half years based in the Devon Countryside.

Previous to this Sammy travelled the world as a Design Director and Textile Designer for 17 years working for some of the biggest names in the apparel and sports industry such as adidas, Quiksilver, NBA, Olympics, Team GB, Johnathon Saunders, and Xcel Wetsuits. Sammy's biggest role in the USA being adidas' Design Director for apparel graphics for American Sports where Sammy oversaw the American Division for US sports graphic creative direction.

Following her love of design and the ocean living for some time in Oregon USA, Biarritz France and Byron Bay. Sammy has now returned home to Devon to raise her young daughter and paint full time.

Sammy studied fashion and textile design in London receiving a BA Hons at Ravensbourne.  Working in fabric and textile design has long has emphasised her love for texture through application. Sammy also loved riding as a child and her time spent working in the states influenced her style heavily.
