THE FISHERMANS WIFE

This Collection was inspired by works of literature such as Herman Melville's Moby Dick, The Old Man and The Sea by Hemingway, The Wide Wide Sea by Hampton Sides, and Harry Thompsons This Thing of Darkness. The paintings have taken on their own life and are an embodiment of the fables and tales told around the ocean passed on generation to generation with the lessons and superstitions all rolled in. The painting are a representation of someone who sits ashore and hears and sees all; the Fishermans wife, her stories through time.
